I’m Miss Taylor, the Executive Principal, and I’m excited to welcome you to our wonderful school community. We were rated a Good School by Ofsted in November 2021, and we’re proud to provide a caring, safe, and Christian value based environment where your child can flourish through inspirational learning, love and laughter.

Our vision is simple: we aim to be a family community rooted in equality where everyone feels safe, happy and valued. Through our Christian values—like love, friendship, and compassion—we create a space where all children develop resilience, hope and aspirations for the future.

At St Matthew's, we also celebrate diversity, equality, and British values. We welcome children and families of all faiths or none, because every child matters to us. Our dedicated staff work hard to make sure all children feel safe, confident, and excited about learning. We believe in working closely with families, and we’re always happy to hear your thoughts and feedback.
