PSHE Consultation: June 2026
PSHE Curriculum Consultation – Parent Voice
At St Matthew’s CE Primary Academy, we are committed to providing a high-quality PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) curriculum that supports all pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need for life in modern Britain.
As part of our regular review of our PSHE policy and curriculum, we are inviting parents and carers to share their views. This includes our approach to teaching relationships, health, wellbeing, safety (including online safety), and personal development.
Consultation with parents is an important part of this process. It helps us to:
- ensure our curriculum reflects the needs of our children and families
- maintain strong partnerships between home and school
- provide transparency about what is taught and why
- meet statutory expectations for Relationships and Health Education
Your feedback will help us review and refine our provision so that it remains age-appropriate, inclusive and supportive for all pupils.
We appreciate you taking the time to read the attached Long Term Plan and associated Policy, share your views and support our school community.
Please submit all responses by Monday 22nd June 2026.
