Welcome to St Matthew's C of E Academy!

It is a real privilege to welcome you to St Matthew's Church of England Primary Academy. Having served as Head of School here for the past nine years, I know our school deeply and hold a genuine affection for its children, families and staff. Now, as Trust Headteacher, I remain wholeheartedly committed to the life of this school and to ensuring it continues to flourish at the heart of its community.

Our school is a place where every child is truly known and valued. Rooted in our Christian vision and values, we nurture kindness, curiosity and confidence, encouraging children to grow academically, socially and spiritually. Our size is one of our greatest strengths: it allows us to build strong relationships, celebrate individuality and provide a caring, supportive environment in which children feel safe to learn and to be themselves.

We work in close partnership with parents, carers, our church and the wider Trust to give every child the very best start in life. Whether you are a current family or considering joining us, you will find a warm welcome, high expectations and a shared commitment to helping every child shine.
