Summary of Primary Sport and PE Premium spending

Objectives: 2016 - 2017

·       Increase CPD for all staff , including TA’s, to enable greater quality of PE to be delivered all children                                                                

·       A PE session provided by a specialist to increase the quantity of PE within the curriculum for all children                                  

·       Intra and inter-house sports

of specific sessions for school teams

-         Identify when inter-sports competitions are to organise G&T sessions for those children

Children to enjoy success at local sports tournaments and festivals; incorporating learnt skills into match situations.

Attendance (where

appropriate and possible) at all tournaments, events and

competitions by increasing Inter competitions.

£200 transport costs

All children to enjoy both inter tournaments linked with Stoke Sports Cluster and other C of E schools, etc, with the local Secondary school PE leaders leading the competitions.

All year groups to be focused on – for a variety of sports, for a range of abilities.

Children to enjoy success at given

tournaments and festivals and maintain links with local and national teams and academies.

Children’s skill levels to increase due to competition with others

Use of impact measures

Tracking the impact on areas such as engagement, fitness improvement, including healthy life styles and engagement at primary schools.

Identify strengths and weaknesses of healthy living. Improve quality of lifestyle, extending to family and friends.

Improve lasting effects of healthy living

High quality PE session delivered to all children. Differentiation for all abilities, assessment to identify G&T children

Children enjoy sports and want to continue after school during the wide varied clubs.

Timetable of sports across the school. Children participated in a inter-house competition for that sport.

Increase competitive spirit in children

To provide high quality Swimming lessons for yr1-4 (any yr5-6 children to go with yr3-4)

Children are safe when they are around water.

Parental support if child struggles.

Training pupils as Sports Leaders.

Wrap around care needed for children, therefore school has to cover costs for initial setup.

 

   

Real life situations used – science: healthy eating, ICT evaluating peer performance, Maths use of rapid recall skills.
